Edinburgh is my dream town.

Last week I realized one of my life long artistic dreams.

To participate in one of the largest fringe festivals in the world means you've finally made it, and Edinburgh Fringe is a collection of the best of the best. The Fringe Festival has over 1000 shows, and that's only the one festival out of the many that are happening at the same time in the Scottish Capital.

This year I was incredibly lucky to be a part of Chaz Royal's "Best of Burlesque" that played nightly at the Assembly Gardens in the Piccolo tent. Burlesque is a small niche of the fringe scene and can be confused with its sister "adult friendly" shows categorized as "cabaret." The "Best of Burlesque" is the ONLY show at Fringe devoted strictly to burlesque with a new line-up every night. A week's worth of nightly shows was enough for me, but it tickled my fancy and I'm keen to get back to the Fringe in the next following years to do more. It's absolutely exhausting, but the experience was incredibly unreal. The people, the shows, the art, and the city - the whole lot ismesmerizing! I have to honestly say it was one of the best weeks of my life.

A HUGE thanks goes out to Chaz Royal and Betty Rose Royal for accepting my application to be a part of their professional show; to Kiki Deville for being one of the kindest, warm and exceptionally talented MC's I've ever worked with; and to Bettie Bombshell for being my best bitch at Fringe. I can't wait to work with y'all again!
