Learn the classic, elegant and cheeky art of burlesque dancing with ostrich feather fans in this 8 week course with Maple Rose!
In this course we will:
- Learn poise and basic fan technique
- Learn classic fan dance moves and poses
- Learn the art of tease, hide and reveal with feather fans
- Put your moves together into a cute, fun and flirty group routine
Class is suitable for students of all genders who are new to burlesque, or have some burlesque experience but new to fan dancing. Ostrich fans provided for use during class. You will learn a routine and perform at our end of term Cherry Poppers Showcase. Please note there is no striptease in this class.
Note: It is recommended to complete 1-2 x Beginner Fan Dance courses before proceeding to Intermediate level (if unsure as to suitability please contact Poppy).
