Are you ready for a challenge? Led by the feathery tornado, Maple Rose, in this 8 week Fan Dance Course we'll up your fan game in a challenging routine full of tricks, grip changes, footwork and character. 

Advanced Fan Dance

In this course we will:

- Learn classic and creative fan dance moves and poses, in a classic vintage showgirl style or modern neo-burlesque routine.

- Master the art of tease, hide and reveal with feather fans.

- Learn to incorporate more complex fan choreography such as fast moves and transitions, tricks, grip changes, floor work and more

- Acts may incorporate striptease elements into your fan dancing 

- Further explore character and tone in your fan dance

Extensive prior experience in fan dancing is required for this class - we recommend a minimum of 2-3 x Intermediate Fan Dance (Showcase or Tech) courses prior to moving to Advanced level.

Ostrich fans are provided for use during the class.

You will learn a routine and have the option to perform at our end of term Cherry Poppers Showcase on July 31st, 2022. Please note this class involves striptease and may include a pastie reveal.

This class is open to all genders.

Please note this is a Showcase class. All enrolments are for a 8 week course in our studio in Richmond. Casual drop-ins are not available for this class.
Class numbers will be capped at a maximum of 10 students to comply with covid-safety guidelines. Strict hygeine and physical distancing restrictions will apply. A full studio clean will be completed between each class.
