Take your Feather Fan Dance technique and repertoire to the next level in this 8 week Showcase course! Learn all the essentials of dancing with ostrich feather fans, including: poise and basic fan technique, burlesque fan moves, the art of hide and reveal, stage presence and character! Plus put your moves together into a fabulous group routine!

In this course we will:

- Learn classic and creative fan dance moves and poses, in a classic vintage showgirl style or modern neo-burlesque routine.

- Further develop the art of tease, hide and reveal with feather fans.

- Work with both neo- and classic- grip styles and further develop your confidence with grip changes and more complex moves and transitions

- Learn how to incorporate striptease elements into your fan dancing

- Learn how to incorporate character and tone into your fan dance

Prior experience in fan dancing is required for this class. It is recommended to complete at least 2 x Beginner Fan Dance courses before proceeding to Intermediate level (if unsure as to suitability please contact us).

It is recommended to complete at least 2 x Intermediate Fan Dance courses before proceeding to Advanced level. Open to all genders.

Ostrich fans are provided for use during the class.

You will learn a routine and have the option to perform at our end of term Cherry Poppers Showcase on October 9th, 2022. Please note this class involves striptease and may include a pastie reveal.

Please note this is a Showcase class. All enrolments are for a 8 week course in our studio in Richmond. Casual drop-ins are not available for this class.

Class numbers will be capped at a maximum of 10 students to comply with covid-safety guidelines. Strict hygeine and physical distancing restrictions will apply. A full studio clean will be completed between each class.
